Ekiti PDP Crisis: Senator Abiodun Olujimi Hails Inec-

The recent publication in respect of PDP Congresses in Ekiti state is a credence to the integrity of Independent National Electoral Commission in Ekiti state and the nation at large.

Obviously when you have people of proven integrity at the helm of affairs, things will go right and the society will be at peace. The position of the "Hon Resident Electoral Commissioner" in Ekiti state was a true reflection of what transpired even before his arrival because the superintendent department saddled with the monitoring process and field officers could also attest to the parallel conducts that actually obtained during the conduct of the Ward congress in the state.

This is a veracious testimony to the fact that our democracy is truly attaining absolute sincere consolidation devoid of any kangaroo process that could deny the public of the quality they desire for necessary developments.

It is a complete deviation from hiding the truth under carpet as it used to be in the past.

We deeply appreciate the level of transparency and integrity of the Commission  as reflected in the news.

Remember, the Congresses are in stages and phases and a product of one turns to be a raw material of the other. It goes without saying that if the foundation of the process is not transparent enough, the end product will be an adulterated one.

We need to learn from what has befallen others and shy away from illegality to do the rightful thing as required at the right time too by the enabling instruments of all the Stakeholders so that our efforts will not be in futility at the end. 

This is a welcome development in our political cycle from the Commission to set the records straight and a good turning point for integrity to take charge.
