Ooni Of Ife Claims To Know Cure For The Coronavirus

The Nigerian Ooni of Ife, Enitan Ogunwusi, on Monday made some revelations on the treatment of Coronavirus.

The deadly disease has killed over 30,000 people in three months globally.Currently, Nigeria has recorded 111 cases of the global pandemic.

On Monday, the Ooni recalled that a divine proclamation came out to the world last year, June 6th, 2019, during the World Ifa Festival – Otura Meji.

The statement was posted on his Twitter account.

“We foretold about the impending rage of this invisible pandemic war, but few heard us”, the monarch said.

“Please note that Efod/Urim and Thurim are in the holy Books. They are the same as our ancient readings that have not failed us till date. On this throne, I work very closely with all the nations of the world most especially the nation of Cuba.

“Centuries go by, the nation of Cuba hold dearly the tenets of our ancestors and rely on the blessings of the mystery of nature, and as a result they have the best medical care in the world. They are the ONLY country that have come out boldly to help the world.”

He stated that the Almighty is above religion and he is moving now; that the world will now respect nature wholly.

“To solve this ailment is through natural elements put together above all from nature. It has been tested!!! I have used it and also used it for some of the chronic Corona patients with testimonials.”

He challenged researchers both in Nigeria and the world to put these natural herbs into clinical medicine and extract the vaccines from it.

The Ooni further expressed readiness to work with them and provide huge access to the herbs.

 Gov. Seyi Makinde Urged PDP Leaders To Reposition The Party And Reclaim Its Glory. 

Governor Makinde made the call while speaking at a South-West Stakeholders’ meeting of the PDP held at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan, on Thursday.

He noted that he had already dedicated himself to the cause of uniting all tendencies in the zone, adding that a united South-West PDP would rub off positively on the national outlook of the party.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Makinde, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, quoted the governor as saying that the history of politics in the country has shown that once the South-West is united and it thrives, the entire country would enjoy peace and would also thrive.

He added that the same could be said of the PDP, where the unity and wellness of the party in the South-West have always been tied to its progress at the national level.
He said: “If the South-West can be organised, then Nigeria will be organised. I am not a saint neither am I a devil. What we are dealing with is a game of number and we have to accommodate one another. Let us not assume some people are bad, because they have their own roles to play in this too. So, I am for unity in the South-West and I have donated myself to pursuing unity for our region.

“The only message from me is that of unity for the South-West zone. I am harping on the unity for our zone, because if we go down the memory lane, we will know that when the South-West is thriving, unified, the entire country is unified and thriving. So, we have to work extremely hard to unify all the tendencies.

“In Oyo State, we have experienced disunity before and we know the implications. After the 2015 general election, we came back together and we said to ourselves that we must not tread on that path again. I try to be frontal, because I believe we have to play a different brand of politics.

“When we got to Ekiti, I said to everybody that the two gladiators in the state; Governor Fayose and Senator Biodun Olujimi are the main issues and I have been talking with them.

“I have the pleasure to also let you know that we are planning a unification rally on the 18th of March here in Ibadan and we would be using Mapo Hall. At that unification rally, the former governor of Osun State and former national secretary of our great party, Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola, would be coming back formally into the party. So, I am using this opportunity to invite all the stakeholders from all the states in the region to mark that date to celebrate the party. Let us send a very strong signal out that the South-West is ready to lead the charge again.”

The meeting comprises the delegations from the Six South West States and  Ekiti PDP was duly represented by the Sen. Biodun Olujimi Repositioning group.

The governor also used the occasion to comment on the ongoing congresses in Ekiti and Ondo states, stating that the zonal congress where a new set of leadership for the zone would be formed will soon take place.
He said: “Finally, there are congresses going on in some of Ekiti and Ondo states respectively. We are also having the zonal congress coming up soon. Yes, some people have been there for four years and we need an agreement and alignment within the zone.

Those who have interest can indicate because we don’t want people to just go ahead and buy forms. We need to apply wisdom in the arrangement.
“Each state will nominate a candidate and the leaders will go through the process in terms of zoning. They join two states together to form an office. We will follow that existing procedure. So, I will seek your support to come together, zone the offices and we go into the congress as a united body to select the people that will run the South-West zone for us for the next four years.
“I believe we will set the tone for the rest of the country if we get it right without any external interference. If we can do it within this zone, then we can echo it that we have the capacity to sort out our own internal grievances. We are not putting names in there right now. Once we have an agreement on what is zoned to a particular state, then everybody will go back to their states and give us the individuals they have agreed to nominate.
“There are benefits in government and I believe it will be a fruitless effort if we cannot work diligently as a party to clinch the government. I pray that all our states in the South-West, including Lagos that has not produced PDP governor since 1999, will produce candidates of this party in this dispensation.
“When I went to Lagos and told them that they should be ready for defeat, they abused me but it didn’t pain me. I am saying it again that Lagos also will fall to the PDP.”
Speaking earlier, the South-West Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Eddy Olafeso, said “I celebrate all our leaders and the rest who are here seated that have taken up the gauntlet; those who have forgiven certain moments that the PDP did not do well with them and are willing to continue the battle with all of us.
“We encourage unity. Without unity, we are dead. We have been divided and we see the consequences. We have been disunited and we have been lost. The only path to victory and success is to be united. Unless we begin to embrace ourselves at the moment of disagreement, we cannot be statesmen.”
Olafeso, who hailed the developmental strides of Governor Makinde, urged him not to relent in rebuilding Oyo State from the ruins and wasted years of the APC.
He said: “This party must continue to show progress. We are blessed to have Governor Makinde as a leader who is willing to lead right in front while we all follow. It is not true that there won’t be challenges ahead. Challenges will come but we should conquer and overcome.”

The Repositioning group which is headed by Sen. Biodun Olujimi and Sen. Duro Faseyi were optimistic of bringing Ekiti PDP back to life, claimed that the Fmr Governor Ayodele Fayose recklessness had affected the victories of the party in the last elections.

And it is of note that if he (Fayose) in his domineering attitude continue to pilot the affairs of the party, the party will go into oblivion.

With the strength of the leaders of the repositioning group put together, to put an end to the existence of the Fmr Governor who really want to foist his preferred aspirant on the party is becoming reality.

The conduct of the ward congress in Ekiti State on Saturday March 7th 2020 which was swept by the group in all the 177 wards had prompt them in sending out congratulatory messages to their members and urged them to be magnanimous in victory, hopefully to bring back the party to the desired position. 

This is to congratulate all the 177 Ward Chairmen and their Executives who emerged in the Saturday's PDP Ward Congresses through affirmation of candidates, as witnessed by INEC and other relevant Security Agencies, in conformity with the PDP party constitution and the electoral act.

We commend the resilience of our party faithfuls for their unalloyed loyalty to our great party, PDP.

In light of this, we appeal to all the newly elected party Executives across the 16 local government areas of the state to be magnanimous in victory and work harmoniously with all other party members to swiftly commence an aggressive mobilization drive for the party to ensure our victory in the forthcoming Local government and State Congresses.

Also,we appreciate the PDP Patrons in Ekiti State, Senators Biodun Olujimi, Duro Faseyi and other leaders, too numerous to mention, for their rugged determination to rescue the party from the political Merchants.

Biting The Fingers That Fed One, A  Party Beneficiary campaigning Serially Against The Party! 

Respect is Earned

The recent ruse to use a few elders in our party to endorse impunity should be condemned by the party leaders and faithfuls, admitted the elders have a role to play in the party, such roles must be guided at all times with caution and discretion.
Firstly, at all advisory stages, there must be trust. Most of the people in that meeting in Chief Awoyelu's house are men who can not be trusted, because of their antecedents at all political responsibility levels. No trust no relationship.

 The meeting at best, is an assemblage of political like minds within the PDP. Who are trying a trick.

What is the level of involvement of the State Working Committee in the ruse called meeting? If far reaching decisions are to be taken it would not be the hurriedly assembled people, it won't the venue, and certainly it won't be H/E Ayo Fayose that will be the conveigner.

Were those few men in Chief Awoyelu's house not in PDP when H/E Ayo Fayose campaigned against the candidature of PDP serially in 2010 and 2019? Were meetings held to at least publicly condemn such acts?

When he chased away all other leaders in 2017 and 2018 because he singlehandedly chose the Gubernatorial candidate and all other candidates from Councellorship  up, where were our leaders who are in that gathering when it was reported that the party secretariat built from member's dues have been sold ? By H/E Ayo Fayose!
What has changed?

What has changed is that many members believe the current stranglehold of the party by H/E Ayo Fayose has continued to weaken it, we have continued to loose membership, so those who stand on the truthful restoration of PDP in Ekiti State are those who have refused to be

1. Blackmailed and or deceived.

2. Merchandized Supporters

There will be properly conducted congresses bottom up, through which the dignity of members will be restored and  their trust earned, and build a new PDP where imposition will be no more. Where Counselors will be elected in their wards by their constituents, where our flag bearers will not be chosen by one man but by all. in  fair and free elections.

Condoning the former Governor's several political anti party behaviors will never make it right, neither can the assembly of political friends in a private residence be upgraded to a party position on election of State Working Committee Members of the party.

Anyone who is interested in the resurtitation of PDP in Ekiti State will hold elective congress, in the different wards, up to the State and National levels, fortunately the Ayo Fayose said "my group"  is ready for the congress.

Respect is earned and not demanded . Politicians always want to win , its normal, but the desperation by the former Governor is suspect , is it  .because he wants to cover up certain suspicious transactions? Is it because of some other reasons known only to him?

The  gathering rather than beat their chests that only two candidates came to their mischievous meeting. Happily one or two honorable people in that meeting have come out to describe as "fabrication of falsehood" as no candidate was adopted by the meeting contrary to lies reported after the spurious meeting.

Hon Kehinde Odebunmi is a candidate in the April Party Chairmanship Election in Ekiti State. He represents liberal Democrats who believe election is a huge component of democracy . He believes that the party must truly be returned to the people at ALL levels in the party.

He believes in law and order . He stands against impunity . He has the capacity to lead. He is an apostle of collective leadership. We must reposition this party away from the crash and failures of yesteryears. That is what we are.

We Can't Continue To Thread On The Old Path, Ekiti PDP Must Be Rescued. 

Those who come to equity must come with clean hands.

The handwriting is clear for the knowledgeable that it is twighlight of an inglorious era of imposition of candidates in Ekiti PDP .

Candidates were imposed from Councelorship to Governorship between2014 and 2018, and see where it has landed us. In a thunderous flash heroes became leaders of zeroes. We nearly lost it all. The only shinning light of PDP in Ekiti State today Senator Olujimi was virulently and shamelessly  campaigned against . But God win.

Those who buried our fortune are not remorseful but instead boast and threaten and then plead in an illogical manner   , such that they were roundly rejected by APC a party they threatened to join haven exchanged our victory for defeat   for personal gains first in 2011 and again in 2018.

Nothing can come out of a bag except that which is in it. When a man loses his name , he should go to redeem it not go about with an odious personality, everyone deserves to learn from our fooleries that only God is God and no man is God.

Those are beneficiaries of PDP should be ready to sacrifice all to bring it back to glory not to pursue narrow political brinkmanship interests

How good and glorious it would have been if ALL who were driven away by the leadership style of Ayo Fayose were still members of the PDP, they include numerous Former Deputy Governors, Senators, Members of Parliament (state and federal) Commissioners , etc.

H. E Ayo Fayose can not do it alone, and elders should be fair enough to tell him that enough is enough, enough of political gangsterism and rascality.
Did the so called elders caution our political gadfly when he went round the state raining curses on Hon Alaska , the state chairman PDP, Hon Prince Adeyemi Orilele, when he referred to Chief Ropo Adesanya as R.I.P. When your star boy Fayose was going about raining curses and saying unprintable things.

Only few indulgent elders can stand the political misbehavior of Fayose. Where's are the real elders like Prof Adeniran where is Prof Folayan ? Please elders should go down to Shiloh with pride with gaiety , going with shame is going with Ayo Fayose.
Hon Kehinde Odebunmi will not be in a gathering of yes men , of spineless old men who have forgotten about fair contest, imposition is an aberration and not the norm. Because we in repositioning movement are in the business of returning the party to the people. We say no to imposition and yes to true democracy . That is the true path to go.
