Defection: PDP S'W Spokesman, Atofarati reacts on 'Our Peoples Fm'

Atofarati speaks: Firstly I want to appreciate Nigerians for the love they have in PDP and their tolerance of the ruling APC maladministration.
Atofarati speaks: On the issue of defections, politics is about interest. People leave one platform to other whenever they think their interests are no longer protected. More importantly is the fact that none of the three defected governors have condemn the PDP.
Atofarati Speaks: PDP stands a brighter chance of winning in 2022 Ekiti election and the 2023 general elections.
Atofarati Speaks: Election is about the electorates, the decider of winners are the voters and not about who is who.
Atofarati Speaks: The major promise of PMB is to fight corruption but today, the people that made the promise are now more corrupts, this is why some corrupts politicians are running to APC for safety. It's all about the fear of anti-graft agencies.
Atofarati Speaks: Coming elections will be all about where we are and what it was before now. Salaries are not being promptly paid, the economy is not stable, the health sector, insecurity. The people are suffering.
Atofarati Speaks: People joining APC will soon be back home, it's going to be a regrettable adventure; "Ekiti state as a case study". Our leaders and members that defected are back home; Engr Segun Oni, Dr Sikiru Tae Lawal, Otunba Yinka Akerele, Amb. Dare Bejide and many other leaders having realized the anti democratic tendencies of the APC
Atofarati Speaks: In Zamfara, PDP will get justice in court. Matawalle can't decamp with PDP's mandate/victory, the victory that brought matawalle to power was not for him but for PDP. APC was nullified and the Judgement was the next political party must be Sworn in.
Atofarati Speaks: I've said it earlier, a governor only has one vote like other electorates. Those disrupting the peace of PDP are leaving the party.
Atofarati Speaks: Let me state clearly, there's no crisis in Ekiti PDP. We only have clash of interest. Both Sen. Biodun Olujimi and Fmr Gov. Ayodele Fayose are talking for the betterment of PDP. You could recalled that southwest executives led by Amb. Arapaja had visited the two leaders and the statements was they are ready to shift grounds but that doesn't mean they'll not have their preferences.
Atofarati Speaks: We thank God that PDP is democratic, unlike APC that selected their present house of assembly members through text messages. Is that Democratic? Can our democracy grow through this?
Atofarati Speaks: Lastly I want to urge Ekiti people to always come out during voting and those that have no voter's card should make sure they register for theirs.
Atofarati Speaks: PDP is one and our members must not allow APC elements cause distractions between us.
