[PHOTOS] Ekiti: PDP Inaugurates Kehinde Odebunmi's Campaign Committee.
Days after the Ekiti PDP SWC denounced the former governor Ayo Fayose group's idea of consensus candidate, which was described as an attempt to ambush the party in a statement issued by the party's publicity secretary, Jackson Adebayo.
Members of the party in Ekiti state, on Thursday, trooped out in their hundreds to witness the epic event that ushered in the newly inaugurated members of the Kehinde Odebunmi campaign council.
The event witnessed the attendance of some notable leaders of the party across the sixteen (16) local government areas of the state.
The committees inaugurated included; Finance, Planning and Strategy, Media and Publicity, Security, Logistics (Transport) and Welfare committee respectively.
Present at the event include, Former Deputy Governor, Dr. Sikiru Tae Lawal; Chief Bodunde Daramola, Chief Michael Omoleye, Otunba Yinka Akerele, Dr. Mrs Okocha, Hon. Segun Akinwunmi, Goke Omidiran, Prince Aderogba Agbaje, Prince Afolayan Akutupu, Oluomo Dokun Bolarinwa, Mosu Aguda amongst other dignitaries.
Alhaji Lateef Ajijola, the Director General of the campaign, earlier in his address said it was time to return the party back to its lost glory. Saying, "Only a man of impeccable character, reliable, committed party man like Kehinde Odebunmi as chairman can return the party to power."
