Ekiti PDP: "There's difference between Criminality and Loyalty" ~ Oguntuase chides Fayose.

Sequel to the ongoing political events in Ekiti State towards the forthcoming congress, which is expected to kick start by March 7th 2020.

The party chairman, Barr Gboyega Oguntuase on his returning trip from the party's National Executives Council (NEC) meeting held in Abuja during the week, was hosted by the people of Ikole-Ekiti the headquarter sit of Ikole local government.

Oguntuase was received by the large crowd of party members who gathered from all the wards across the local government was flanked by leaders and stakeholders of the party across the state such as; Otunba Yinka Akerele, H. E Dr Sikiru Tai Lawal, Alh Lateef Ajijola and Hon. Kehinde Odebunmi amongst others.

Why reacting to his disloyalty allegation by Fayose, Oguntuase stated that, "There's clear difference between Criminality and Loyalty". I was very loyal to the former governor during his tenure until he came up with an act of Criminality by selling off the party secretariat, urging me to sign such document is criminal act and i vehemently declined it.  My resistant to all his antics aimed at luring me to be part of the shameful, disgraceful and criminal acts is my offense." Barr Oguntuase said.

Alh Lateef Ajijola, the Director General of kehinde Odebunmi Chairmanship campaign council in his reaction recounts the Scenario that played out on Dec 7th 2014 when he won the Senatorial primary of the Ekiti Central Senatorial District, which the former governor willingly hijacked from me and gave to a person which is no more in the party today.

The eloquence, oratory and highly respected DG introduced Hon. Kehinde Odebunmi as the incoming state chairman of PDP. He noted that, he (Hon. Odebunmi) remains the only person with high pedigree, integrity and humility to foster unity among the party members and return it to power.

Barr Gboyega Oguntuase lamented fayose's questionable character which he described as the major reason why party leaders have rejected the former governor.

He said, "As at today none of his former deputies are with him. He spent almost eight years as  Governor, none of those who served under him as Speakers of the State Assembly are with him, only one of the 26 House of Assembly members during his first term is miserably left with him. This is pathetic!.

Less than two years out of officeas Governor, seventeen(17) out of his 26 Assembly members are no longer with him. Fayose needs to retrace his steps and sort genuine repentance from Ekiti people he looted rather than his consistent deceit and gangsterism." Oguntuase said.
