PDP Chieftain Dumps Party, Joins SDP|Ojaomonews
A Chieftain of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in Ekiti State and Oluomo of Ijero kingdom, Chief Olusesan Arowolo has moved to the Social Democratic Party, SDP with thousands of his supporters across Ekiti Central Senatorial District.
The Ijero-Ekiti born politician is the CEO of Heritage Confessionaries LTD, Dublin Republic of Ireland and PDP House of Representatives aspirant in 2019 general election at Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II.
In his statement as contained in a release signed by the Director General, Ekiti Central Choice, Project 2023 Hon. Ayodele Bamikole received by Ojaomonews.com, said he dumped his former party on the conviction that the" future of a prosperous and united Ekiti State lies in the SDP", whose leadership he also described as sincere and genuine in its commitment to a progressive State.
"SDP remain the only genuine progressive party in the country. Therefore, I urge electorate in the State to vote for the SDP's candidate, Engr. Adebayo Olusegun Oni in the forthcoming governorship election in order to bring dividends of democracy to all and sundry.
"Without mincing words, I assure the leadership of SDP in Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole my loyalty and support and, to work assiduously for the victory of the party in the June 18, gubernatorial election in the State and, subsequent 2023 general elections" He said.
