The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South-West has commiserated with the National Assembly and people of Ondo State over the death of Honourable Adedayo Omolafe, a Federal lawmaker representing Akure South/Akure North Federal Constituency.
The zonal publicity Secretary, Chief Sanya Atofarati, on Monday, said the lawmaker was a loyal, committed and service- oriented party man who sacrificed for the growth of the party.
The party said the late Adedayo Omolafe popularly known as 'Expensive' played a key role in setting a unity table that strengthened the party in his state. The spokesman described the deceased as an exceptionally dedicated legislator, an incomparable team player and grassroots mobiliser.
"His sudden demise came to us as a rude shock and a big blow, considering his strength of character and ability to mobilise people.
While extending our deep condolences to his immediate family, the National Assembly and the entire Ondo State PDP, we urge all our members to pray for the repose of his soul"
