The senator representing Ekiti South in The Nigeria Senate, Sen. Biodun olujimi speaking with journalists during the weekend worried about the State of The nation over the insecurities.
She stated that " We've been speaking with the governments and maybe they're working to their limitation but what we have now is very demoralized.
Security challenge is impossible to clarify, we Nigerians needs to be vigilant, to be our brothers keepers and to be suspicious.
In the villages, we must know people that surround us and to always reports anybody that is suspicious to the appropriate quarters if we do that in the small areas, it Will be adding values to whatever the government is able to do.
We also urge our government to Wake up to the tedious task, the major responsibility of government is to secure lives and properties, if they fail in that then they've failed in all.
I know that government are taking measures to stem insecurities bit it's nothing enough.
The insurgency, instabilities, violence and criminalities permiating our societies is not what we imagined or voted for, we've never had it so bad in our dear country".
Asking the senator about the committee setup by Ooni of Ife, which the senator is a member of the committee.
"I was at Ife but it was about the greatness of southwest,how we can return to our routes and to resuscitate our jettisoned cultural values to become better 'Omoluabi' we were known to be.
