Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Ife federal constituency rose from a meeting in Osogbo and declared that former Governor Olagunsoye oyinlola from Osun state remains PDP’s best choice for National chairman.

  The People's Democratic Party stakeholders in Ife Federal Constituency paid a courtesy visit to the Former Governor of Osun state and also the former National Secretary of party, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, at his residence in Oshogbo, Osun capital.

The PDP delegations led by the Osun East Senatorial Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, Barr. Wale ojo visits the former Governor in appreciation for his fatherly role, Endorsement and support giving to the first Ife born South-west PDP Financial Secretary Hon Babatunde Adewoyin during the last South-west Zonal Congress in Oshogbo.      

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ife Zone also endorsed the Former Governor of State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, in his Aspiration for the post of the National Chairman of the Party.

An Ife born politician who also doubled as the  Senatorial Leader of the party in Osun East  Barr. Wale Ojo, made the disclosure this afternoon after meeting with Prince Oyinlola  at his GRA residence Oshogbo, Osun capital.

More over, a three-term  former House of Representatives member who is also the Overall PDP leader in Ife Federal Constituency, Hon John Olawole Fashogbo, said they came all the way from Ile-ife to appreciate the former Governor for his support for Ife Peoples during the last congress and pledge total loyalty and support to “his (Oyinlola’s) National chairmanship Ambition.

“We resolved to, irrespective of any rancour, move the party forward and we will ensure that the party takes its better seat in 2023. We did not come here to discuss anything about the last zonal congress. The congress has been conducted in free and fair manners and "No Victor No vanquished" we only come here to restate our commitment to our own coming National chairman.

“It is the full structure of Ife federal Constituency that is represented here. former and Present member of House Representatives. We also have complete working and non-working committee members of the exco here. We have the Local government chairman of the party here. The Representative of the Ward chairmen of the party are here.We have the secretary, legal adviser and the entire party structure of the party in Ife Federal Constituency here. This is a complete House of PDP, Ife Zone.

While speaking, Prince Oyinlola appreciates the PDP leaders in Ife federal government and congratulated the newly Inaugurated Southwest Zonal Financial Secretary, Hon. Babatunde Adewoyin and pledge total support  for Ife zonal PDP. He said "The peoples in Ife zone had been supporting me since 2003 with bulk votes till 2010 and I see no reason why I should not support their son when the need came"

In the same vein, the PDP leader also visit the former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Distinguished Sen.Olu Alabi in his GRA residence in Oshogbo, Osun capital.

The Zonal leaders appreciates Dr.Olu Alabi for his fatherly role, Endorsement and support giving to the good peoples of Ife zone during the last zonal congress which led to the emergency of Hon Babatunde Adewoyin as the zonal Southwest Financial Secretary of the party.    

While speaking, Dr.Olu Alabi with his joyfulness and melodious songs Congratulated and appreciated the Ife PDP leaders for the surprised visit to his residence and affirmed his commitment in supporting Ife zone whenever there's need, He said "I want you to take this away, home and everywhere that there is no party is as unique as PDP in Osun state and Nigeria."
