The PDP South-west Zone while reacting to the incessant news of insecurity in the country stated, "It is not longer a saying that 'when you live in abnormality long enough it becomes the norm', it is now Nigerians' reality when it comes to insecurity."
The party in a statement through its National Vice Publicity Secretary, Chief Sanya Atofarati, said, "The APC government inflicted insecurity is alarmingly high. Ranging from Boko Haram to Killer Fulani herdsmen to bandits to unknown gunmen kidnapping and killing Nigerians. Even to the Nigerian security apparatus killing their own personnels leaves every Nigerian in despair."
"This wild fire of insecurity is not the true reality of Nigeria and I demand that this mal-administration and politicizing of Nigeria's security must be addressed and ended immediately."
The party adviced, "And if this Buhari-led administration has gotten to her wit ends in arresting this nauseating state of security, he should resign as a patriot and allow the PDP reinstall the dilapidated state of security."
He concluded by passing a note of confidence in Nigerians, "My people are a strong people and will arise to kick these people out of their offices whether by impeachment or by election and install those who are not only capable but willing to defend the nation."
Signed;
Chief Sanya Atofarati
