Asa Day: My Cap symbolises Culture PDP National Vice Chairman SW, Arapaja

The PDP National Vice Chairman SW Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja today attended Asa day worldwide and cultural promotion organized by Omooba Olaniyi Oyatoye (BABA ASA) in collaboration with Oyo state Government, held at cultural center Ibadan Oyo state

Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja the South West PDP Vice Chairman in a press release signed by his special assistant on media and publicity Bamitale Ibrahim said the program of the day being a representation of  Culture, is also an initiative for job creation for our youths. As we all know that youth are integral part of every nation and they're important in the development of any Nation he added.

Culturally, our dressing code as Yoruba people is an important aspect of our culture. This include our cloth, Gele/Fila the hair do of our women, beads and other accessories, are all our peculiar way that stand us out as Yoruba people.

As a way to showcase the richness of our culture I make that the Abeti Aja cap is my trademark 

He appreciates the effort of both the Commissioner for culture and tourism Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun, the Special Adviser to the Oyo state Governor on Culture and Tourism Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige for all they have put in place for the development of Our cultural heritage so far, he also appreciate the organizer, Omooba Olaniyi Oyatoye for not forgetting our culture but as well integrating this with the development of youth and job creation for them.

We all need to support this great initiative for the development of all and sundry and growth of Oyo state and nation at Large he emphasized.

Dignitaries present at the occasion include the Wife Of Alaafin who represented His Royal Majesty Iku baba yeye Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Aree Ona kankanfo of Yoruba Land, Iba Gani Adams, Alhaja Bose Adedibu PDP South West Zoner Woman Leader, Wife of Former Governor of Oyo State Alhaja Mutiat Ladoja among others.
