PDP S'West Congress: Ekiti Repositioning Movement Hail Southwest Leaders; Congratulates Newly Elected Officers.

The Peoples Democratic Party Repositioning Movement in Ekiti State had hailed the executive governor of Oyo state, H.E Engr Seyi Makinde and other party leaders in the southwest zone of Nigeria, for the success achieved in the just concluded keenly contested congress.

The group in a press statement signed by their Chairman, Engr Agboola Alaba, said, "we sincerely appreciate the calmness of our leaders which made it possible for our party to achieve a successful process, without any violence, rancor and which is the best way to go as a group of people and family under the same umbrella.

Our own Seyi Makinde had proved himself to be a charismatic leader, a leader who believes in Collegiate Leadership, a leader who believes in equity and justice, and caring father who will never allow his home to be scattered by the marauders.

To other leaders in the zone, that worked closely with H.E Seyi Makinde in achieving the best for our party, majorly Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Ch. Bode George, Sen. Biodun Olujimi, Erelu Olusola Obada, Prof. kolapo Olusola Eleka, Sen. Duro Faseyi, H.E Sikiru Lawal, Rt. Hon Tunji Odeyemi, Otunba Yinka Akerele, Alh. Lateef Ajijola, Hon. Kehinde Odebunmi and other notable leaders, we value you and we appreciate your courage.

The Repositioning movement also used the medium to congratulate the newly elected officers of the party; "It's a new dawn in our party, and we believe that the expected relative peace will abound in our party. We congratulate Amb. Taofeek Arapaja led PDP South-West zonal executives. It's a great joy that a well cultured, nurtured, experienced and worthy person like Amb. Taofeek Arapaja emerged, he's a man who can bring the expected revival into the party in the zone and we commend the sagacities of the other executives mostly those from Ekiti state, Hon. Adeola Ogunrinde, Nat'l Ex-officio elect, Chief Sanya Atofarati, the publicity Secretary elect and Hon. Mrs Lanre Fajuyi, the ex-officio elect, we're proud of you and we know that you are up to the task.

We implore the Arapaja led executives, to use every of their might in restoring the lost glory of our party in the southwest zone and to abound the relative peace as expected.
