ARDENT COMMUNIQUE TO ELECTED PDP SOUTHWEST ZONAL WORKING COMMITTEE

One of the foremost leading agitators of the Ekiti South Agenda in the Ekiti State's Chapter of People's Democratic Party (PDP), EKITI SOUTH AGENDA YOUTH MOVEMENT WING dynamically joined Leaders, stakeholders, members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to eulogize and extol the newly elected SouthWest Zonal Executives, H/E (Amb.) Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja (Zonal Chairman), High Chief Sanya Atofarati (Zonal Publicity Secretary), Chief Mrs Modinat Abosede Adedibu (Zonal Woman Leader), Hon. Mrs Fajuyi - (Ex-officio), Hon Adeola Ogunrinde (National Ex-officio) et. al., and urged the ZWC to embrace collegiate leadership, magnanimous in the party's victory in the just concluded Southwest Zonal Congress held at Oshogbo, Osun-State, to be transparent, accountable, fair and answerable to all with a listening ear, restructure and reposition the party, ensure peace, justice and order, uphold the party's Constitution and serve in the best interest of the Party, PDP.

The movement, Ekiti South Agenda Youth Movement Wing, through her Publicity Secretary further charged the Southwest Zonal Chairman, H/E Ambassador Oladejo Taofeek Arapaja led Zonal Executive to recognize and ensure involvement and participation of competent and committed party Women in party's activities and elections, and pray for smooth and successful tenure in sound mind and health.

In the statement received by Ojaomonews.com, the group stated that; "Oyo State as large as it is, committed to PDP and being one of the heartbeat of PDP in Nigeria had never produced Zonal Chairman until now that an experienced qualified political expert from Ibadan is elected Southwest Zonal Chairman in person of H/E (Amb) Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja. Drawing the attention of elected Southwest Zonal Working Committee (ZWC) to take notice of the same undisputable marginalization wherein Ekiti North Senatorial District and Ekiti Central Senatorial District have each produced a sitting Governor three (3) different and separate times each while the Ekiti South Senatorial District has never produced a sitting Governor in Ekiti State. And further reminding the Southwest ZWC that Ekiti South Senatorial district is a well Coordinated district with the largest local government areas in Ekiti State, the movement therefore, implore the elected ZWC led by H/E (AMB) Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja to use their highly esteemed good office in seeing to the agitations of EKITI SOUTH AGENDA particularly the shortchanging and Marginalization of Ekiti South Senatorial District.
