Engr Alaba Agboola Felicitates With Women On This Year International Women's Day, Describes Them As An Unshakable Moral Pillars Of Society
The chairman of the REPOSITIONING Movement in Ekiti State, Engr. Alaba Agboola has heartily felicitated with women all over the world, particularly women from Ekiti State on this year occasion of International Women's Day.
In his congratulatory message made available to online media in Ado-ekiti, described women as an unshakable moral pillars of society.
The message reads in parts:
" Through history, our women have been an unshakable moral pillars of society and displayed great commitment in the formation of the present-day image of our dear country. Thanks to the right to elect and be elected acquired earlier than in many leading countries of the world, the became active participants in public life.
"Our women, using their inexhaustible energy and intellect for the sake of Nigeria and the people, have attained numerous successes over time. The harmonious unity of natural identity and modernity is our Integral feature of their rich spirituality.
"Closely united around the idea of Independence of our nation and being active participants in the nation-building, public and political developments, Nigerian women are making a valuable contribution to the improvement of the socioeconomic, scientific, cultural and intellectual potential of our nation.
" With their extensive activities, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare, they have successfully put into practice the ideas of our intelligentsia. The ever-growing authority of women and their high status in our society are noteworthy features of modern life in Nigeria.
" I heartily congratulate Nigerian women, and women around the world and most importantly, Sen. Biodun Olujimi, the Mother General of Ekiti politics and senator representing Ekiti South at the National Assembly, princess Yemi Afolabi, the Ekiti State PDP Women Leader.
