The Deputy president of ECOWAS female parliament, senator Biodun Olujimi of Ekiti South district. Has declared, regardless of crisis rocking her state, Ekiti and in the Southwest zone, declared that the only way for her party to regain strengths and return to power in Southwest is for the leadership, members and stakeholders to work cohesively, its quest for the party progress.
The former senate minority leader, accredited much glory for her party in the Zone when they were in power; that antecedent of the party (PDP) is resultant to the much agitation witness across the zone in the areas of human capital development, youths empowerment, equatorial distributions of political positions and dividends which as so far distinguished the party among its sphere or contemporaries across the zone.
She also appreciated the impressive representation of women at the party’s rally as further give credence to the acceptability of the party in campaign toward 35% affirmative conditions for women’s representation.
The senator affirmed that Ondo state has been a PDP state from the democracy inception and therefore urged the people of ondo state particularly the PDP members to troop out in their number to ensure victory is delivered in the forthcoming guber poll in confirmation of their resolution to return power back to the people.
The senator boasted that she'll come back to celebrate the victory of Eyitayo Jegede after the election.
She implore the people of Akure and Ondo State to correct the mistake and bad market of 2016 this time around by voting for PDP-Eyitayo in the forthcoming election ,”
