Ekiti PDP Former Legislators: Matters Arising. Its About 2023!

It was an unusual event reading from four of the former House of Reps members of the 8th National Assembly two days ago.
They had published a piece against the only legislator of their party that is still standing and the only reason they can call themselves members of their political party!!
It is worthy to note that political parties are supposed to be protective of their members especially one that was on the seat of power and threw its victory willy nilly to the opposition.
Suffice it to say that the piece, which was disjointed, self serving and wishy washy did not deal with any concrete issue other than to attack Senator Biodun Olujimi and whip up sentiments on an imaginary attack on the National Chairman of their party, Chief Uche Secondus!
The piece was mischievous, belittling, unethical and cheap considering some of the factors we will analyse.
These four former Reps members were accolades of the former governor who did nothing in particular for the party and the state but were awarded tickets for one reason or the other.
Hon Kehinde Agboola was given the ticket for staying with former Governor Fayose while on political exile when the duo and others like them had used the platform of the party and dumped it. Agboola was Lg Council chairman in ikole (bequeathed to him for boot licking) and his boss the governor. They both left the party and tried their hands in 4 other parties, where they failed woefully. On their return, Agboola was picked above all the good aspirants who had kept the party and were steadfast.
Hon Aina was similar to Agboola, he was also council chairman of Ido Osi local govt who was embroiled in myriad of cases that concerned the former governor and was even incarcerated. He also abandoned the party when his benefactor left only to return to be compensated over and above all those who sustained the party!!
Hon Oladimeji, the unknown that was compensated for providing funds for the upkeep of the czar! He was the least suitable for the ticket where versatile people had been denied! He is lack lustre, dull and uninspiring. But for pecuniary reasons, he was a candidate, probably for chairmanship of his local government!
Hon Segun Adekola, on a good day should not be representing a decent political party. He bleaches his skin and talks carelessly. He was also said to have been involved in businesses that are not defined. He was compensated by the czar because He has a hold on him! Facts that are known to both of them and can't be shared but strong enough to keep his lackey in check! On a normal day, a bad product!
All four of them out of 6 goaded on their mentor, paid to keep him on their side and couldn't at any time advice or counsel except to grovel and bootlick always. Their response is always: we can't question him, we must accept anything he says, oshoko is the leader! We can't speak, he is God!
They goaded him and put together a substantial purse to ensure he is favourably disposed to their second term ticket! They had no voice when the czar dealt with members of the party, they were not bothered when he cut people down and hounded them out of the party they made vibrant during their exit. They were complicit when the czar started decimating the party they represented at the centre until the ticket they got became cricket and had to fly away!! What manner of people?
The next phase is that they concentrated on massaging the ego of their master and forgot the job of lawmaking! Its like a small community that is drastically cut down!! They didn't have much to offer initially and they got trapped in small mean deeds to protect their master. The result is a lacklustre, uninspirational, uninteresting and uncommon failure at the job they undertook.
Ask them their contributions to the constituencies and the members of the party from then till now. Everything is just about another political calendar.
They are proping up the man who will give them free party ticket again so they can sleep on the rights of the constituents. It's all about 2023!! In their inner consciousness, they don't like or respect the czar, they are just afraid that they can't make it on their own, they don't have the clout nor possess the capacity. 'Anywhere belle face' is their mantra.
These are the people that call themselves fomer members who can only find their voice when the czar is put in his place. Where were they when the party members required palliative? What has been their contribution other than chaos and complicit punishment of members.
They even forgot that there are discerning people within and without the party who can read through their chicanery! They want to believe everyone is stupid and can be carried away by cheap rhetorics.
IT'S ALL ABOUT 2023!
IT'S ABOUT MAULING THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.
