Oyo Corps Member Sacrifices Allowance
Gives scholarship to best students in his PPA

A Corp member serving in Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State, Mr Ajayi Bankole Isaac who hailed from Ogotun-Ekiti in Ekiti South West Local Government of Ekiti State has sacrificed his payment for the month of September to give out scholarships to the best students in the school.
The NYSC passing out parade (POP) is for corps members who have successfully completed their service in their respective place of primary assignment (PPA) and have been cleared for POP in their LGA. Corps members who successfully finish the one year NYSC programme will be awarded discharge certificates.

When contacted by the Media Centre correspondent, Mr. Ajayi Bankole Isaac said his decision was borne out of his passion to help the needy and reward hard work among the students.
He rewarded three students with overall best performances in his subjects with sophisticated textbooks and other learning equipments while a student from Senior Secondary Class got a hair clipper as a means of empowering him to cater for his academics as an indigent student.

The names of the beneficiaries are:

Mr Ajayi, a graduate of Business Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka was posted to Gbedeogun Community High School, a School located in Ibadan Oyo State In October, 2018 for the mandatory one year service by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) also donated a flag to the school.
